12.11 AKK-TIE 

Cooling convector unit, type: AKK-Tie comprises of two heat exchanger assemblies arranged around the duct incorporating linear diffusers. This arrangement is designed to provide high-comfort conditioning for laboratories or areas requiring high cooling loads. The energy advantage of water as a medium for load dissipation and the air flow characteristics of the Coanda effect for draught-free transfer of air with low temperature air are applied by this product. With the duct diffuser, type: VZ-AR, the room is provided with centrally conditioned primary air, which is used by the diffusers to induce room air and direct the mixed flow through the heat exchanger. Due to the resulting pressure induced secondary room air simultaneously flows through the lower heat exchanger row.   The air streams are mixed and flow horizontally as supply air through the perforated face plate front into the room. The top heat exchanger row is equipped with a battery of axial fans, which are continuously adjustable thus amplifying the Coanda effect.
